How do you want the artwork?

If you are supplying artwork for print, please ensure that the resolution is at least 300dpi.

If printing involves Pantone colours we would require artwork to be supplied in a suitable format, i.e., Illustrator EPS.

A JPG cannot be used for spot colours.

A bleed may be required. This is when the print touches the edge of the paper. If you wish the print to spread to the edge, we would normally require the image or graphic to be continued over the edge to compensate for cutting errors.

Microsoft file formats are not suitable for professional printing. However, if you have created your work in Publisher or Word, please supply us with all files, graphics and a PDF copy of the file.

We will be able to advise on any charges incurred to make your artwork suitable for print before going ahead.

What is the process for designing a logo or stationery?

Initially we would speak to you to assess your needs. At this point it is important for you to know such things as the kind of style you are looking for, be it contemporary, classic or traditional. Any other ideas you have would be useful.

We would then supply 3-5 designs and ask for your feedback. Using this feedback we will hone the design until you are happy.

The whole process can take anything from 2 to 14 days depending on the time taken for your feedback and the complexity involved.
